ASCENT: (National High School Camp Experience)

ASCENT 2021
In years past the main focus was a national youth convention that happened every four years called YouthCon. There were a variety of factors that led to the decision to instead provide a yearly national camp called ASCENT. ASCENT will meet at the same facility and offer the same excitement but with a more campy feel and more laid back atmosphere–and it costs less! By offering ASCENT every year, churches now have the freedom to choose what’s best for them and how often they will attend.
HOME: Remain in Christ
This year’s theme will examine the idea of being home through the lens of God’s presence. With the pandemic of 2020, most of the world spent time in their home more than ever, and yet we see teenagers longing for community, purpose, and connection. Our desire is for youth to deepen their abiding relationship with Jesus. We will explore how true intimacy with Jesus and abiding in Him impacts every aspect of one’s life, and provides the “at home” experience that every person longs for.
Dates and Location
ASCENT will be held at Glorieta Camps in Glorieta, New Mexico from Wednesday, June 16 through Sunday, June 20, 2021.
