Webinar: Creation Care from a Biblical Perspective

This webinar is one of an open MB series exploring the spiritual life titled, Creation Care from a Biblical Perspective presented by Katie Isaac, Sara Gurulé and Katerina Friesen.

Join Katie, Sara and Katerina as they explore Colossians 1:15-20 to better understand our role as stewards of creation in light of God’s plan to redeem all things. They will discuss care for the creation and its implications for us as disciples of Christ.

  • Katie Isaac has been researching Christian climate communication for the past two years and is currently the Climate Futures Fellow at the Center for Sustainable Climate Solutions (CSCS) in Harrisonburg, VA. Katie is a 2019 graduate of Fresno Pacific University (FPU.)
  • Sara Gurulé has written on eco-theology within the context of Revelation and is currently an intern with The Pink House, a ministry house devoted to urban ministry. Sara is also a 2019 graduate of FPU.
  • Katerina Friesen works with the Insight Garden Program, an in-prison rehabilitation program that uses gardening as a tool for healing. She is also an adjunct instructor at FPU and teaches classes related to the Bible, social justice and the environment. Katerina is a 2009 graduate of Wheaton College.
