Tim Sullivan
Tim has been the District Minister since 2004. His role is to coordinate the ministries that the churches of the district do together. He serves as a kind of “pastor to the pastors” and by virtue of his district responsibilities, he is also a member of the USMB Leadership Board and US Board of Faith and Life. Tim is married to Donna who is on staff with the US Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. They live in Wichita and he enjoys time spent hunting, fishing, riding bicycle and showing his grandchildren the wonders of God’s creation. Russ Claassen
Russ has a passion for Jesus and ministry to youth and youth workers. He shares a deep love for his wife, Chandelle, and their two sons, Samuel and Dellen. As the Southern District Youth Minister, he has the privilege of encouraging, training, resourcing and navigating life with teenagers, parents and youth workers of our district. He has a special enthusiasm for youth camps and conferences. He earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Tabor College in 1994 and a master’s degree in youth and family ministry from Denver Seminary in 1999. Amber Harshbarger
Amber is the Administrative Assistant and Treasurer for the Southern District Conference. She has a Bachelor's degree in music from Friends University, and loves to play the French horn and sing. Amber has been married to her husband, Kary, for over 20 years, and they have three children. The opportunity to further the ministry of the Gospel through her daily work is something that she treasures. Amber is busy outside of work managing her home and family, but sometimes finds time to enjoy sewing and crafting, reading, and playing board games.
