“This is an open invitation to anyone and everyone in our USMB family who would like to learn more about what the Bible says regarding this issue.”

Tim Sullivan,
Chair, U.S. Board of Faith and Life

Jan. 14-16, 2019

The U.S. Board of Faith and Life (BFL) hosted a study conference to discuss what God’s Word says about women in vocational ministry. The objective of the study conference was to study God’s Word, listen collectively to the Holy Spirit regarding the issue and be faithful to the promise of additional study and conversation made decades ago by delegates to the national convention, says BFL chair Tim Sullivan.
The study conference was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix-Tempe with a conference rate of $160 per night that included breakfast. The registration cost was $149 and included meals, breaks and all conference materials. The Center for Anabaptist Studies helped sponsor the event and hosted a Jan. 23 follow-up webinar.
As a follow-up to the study conference we have provided links to the following article, recorded sessions and photos.
