MAY 1 UPDATE: In early April, Pacific Keep Church pastor Boris Borisov visited Tijuana on the United States/Mexico border, where at the time thousands of Ukrainians, including pregnant women, the elderly and parents with infants, waited to request entry into the United States. • Go and share
There are a lot of people to be reached yet. After COVID-19 and waiting for people to “come back” to church, we realize that many people are not coming back. This is the “new normal” not only in our church but in many other churches. Many churches are asking: how can we get more people […]

    • Church Multiplication
      •
Church planting continues to be a crucial area of ministry for USMB. Studies show churches are the most effective way to bring more people into the family of God. Partnering with local churches, districts, USMB and Multiply to plant churches, is not just a good thing to do, we must do it. Click to see more about Church Planting.
    • Disciple-Making
      •
USMB is actively involved in helping provide our churches with dynamic ideas, resources and programs for encouraging people to become fully-devoted followers of Jesus. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples….” We strive to facilitate that profound command. Click to see more about Disciple-making.
    • Leadership Development
      •
USMB’s leadership development strategy stems from the real need to actively develop more leaders within the local church who are living on mission in the workplace and in their communities and to fulfill the demand for additional pastors, church planters and missionaries. LEAD One Events

by Lori Taylor (USMB) / Tuesday, 11 January 2022 / Published in USMB Now

LEAD One events are regional, one-day interactive leadership training events presented by USMB for church leaders or teams of leaders. The events are FREE to participants.

LEAD One events provide an opportunity to learn more about a specific theme or topic in a relaxed and casual setting. These events help build networks where pastors can be encouraged, share ideas and build lasting relationships.

The greatest benefit is gained when a pastor or leader brings a leadership team to the LEAD One. Collaborative discussions following the event often bring positive change to your church or leadership.

These events are designed to build upon each other, therefore several events are planned in each region. Attending each LEAD One in your region adds more “tools” for the leader’s “tool chest.”

LEAD One events generally start with coffee and light snack in the morning and end by mid-afternoon.

Depending upon the region, there are typically between 20 and 50 people in attendance. These small-sized venues provide good opportunities for dynamic group discussions throughout the event.

We are in the planning stages for the next series LEAD One events. Check back for the next LEAD One coming to your area.
